Save at the Melbourne Eye Clinic
Melbourne alumni can now access a discount on all spectacles and contact lenses at the Melbourne Eye Clinic. The clinic is offering:
- 20% discount on spectacles (lenses and frames), and
- Between 10% and 20% on contact lenses.
The University of Melbourne Eyecare Clinic is located at the University of Melbourne Parkville campus and is part of the University's Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences.
The clinic is a professional clinic where optometry students are able to put into practice skills learnt in the new OD programme. Consultations for alumni are bulk billed to Medicare and all consultations by students are overseen by the University's world-class clinicians. A recent refurbishment of the clinic has resulted in state of the art equipment to aid diagnosis and management. Consultations are thorough and take 60-90 minutes.

Melbourne Dental Clinic opens with more affordable fees for alumni
Established by The University of Melbourne, Melbourne Dental Clinic is a brand new state-of-the-art dental facility that provides more affordable quality dentistry with discounts of around 30% less than other private practices for most procedures. Taking care of your oral health has never been more affordable and accessible.
The clinic boasts 41 specialist dental chairs plus 10 general dental chairs along with the full range of dental specialties.

The sole survivor of the Victorian 'professional houses' that used to line Professors Walk, University House was established to provide a space for great minds to exchange ideas and form friendships with colleagues from across the University.
