Graduation December 2013 Promotion Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Entry is open to students conferring degrees at the University of Melbourne in December 2012. Staff, non-current students and students not conferring degrees in December 2013 are not eligible for prizes.

This promotion runs from Friday 16 November and closes Monday 18 February 2013 at 12am. This is called the promotional period.

How to enter:

  1. To receive automatic entry into the prize draw entrants must complete one or both of the below steps:
    1. Follow @UOMAlumni on Twitter
    2. Tweet a graduation photo using the hashtag #UOMGrad on Twitter or Instagram or email your photo to 
      alumni-office@unimelb.edu.au
  2. Entries must be received by 12am Monday 18 February 2013 to qualify for a chance to win an iPhone 5 value at AU$799 or one of the three University hoodies value at AU$39.
  3. Selection of prize winners: Winners will be randomly selected from the entries received.  The draw will take place at 45 Barry St, Carlton VIC 3053 Australia on Friday 22 February, 2013.
  4. Winners will be contacted via email or phone.
  5. The result of the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. The University of Melbourne reserves the right to redraw in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these terms and conditions or in the event of the prize not being claimed.  If the prize remains unclaimed after 2 months of the draw a second chance draw will conducted by the University of Melbourne at the same place as the original draw at 45 Barry St, Carlton VIC 3053 Australia on Monday 25 February, 2013. Any unclaimed prize draw winners will be notified by email.
  7. The prize must be taken as stated and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for other goods or services. If for some reason the prize is unavailable the University reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
  8. Winners will be notified via the email address they provided and their name will be published on the Melbourne Uni Alumni Facebook (www.facebook.com/melbourneunialumni) and in other University publications.
  9. To redeem the prize the winner must collect the prize in person at an agreed time and location as determined by the University of Melbourne. Proof of identity must be provided by the entrant when collecting their prize.
